A World of Warcraft veteran comes up with a unique way to celebrate the MMORPG’s timeline with wall art highlighting certain expansions.
Activision Blizzard has just introduced the next world of warcraft expansion known as dragon flightbut each expansion has amassed its own fanbase over the years, which inspired wow classic. one of a long time world of warcraft fan has decided to do something creative with their old expansion boxes to celebrate the ever-evolving MMORPG.
As dragon flight was confirmed by Activision Blizzard last week, many members of the world of warcraft The community has expressed its enthusiasm for the upcoming changes in numerous ways. Reddit user Thatnerdyguy92 recently shared an image of a themed wall art highlighting each expansion, starting with the original. world of warcraft box art leading up to the expansion that changed various aspects of the original world, Cataclysm. Thatnerdyguy92’s screenshot shows the initial progress made by Blizzard to get to where dragon flight goes when it finally comes out.

In the case of the originals world of warcraftt box, the Classic the wall art features the Orc disc of the four included with the PC game. The cover art for each expansion is centered in the frame, while the discs are displayed at the bottom left, leaving most of the cover art unobstructed.
world of warcraft was initially released in 2004 and the first version received many content updates and revisions leading to the release of its first expansion, the flaming crusade. Wrath of the Lich King expanded on the original concepts introduced with the first two versions of world of warcraft when it was released in 2008, while Cataclysm changed a large part of Azeroth in 2010. This is the conclusion of the expansions featured in Thatnerdyguy92’s wall art, but Blizzard released Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, battle for azerothand, more recently, shadowlands.
Although Thatnerdguy92 did not comment on why his framed expansions stop at Cataclysmit may have had to do with the drop in players world of warcraft experimented with expansion. Many players have also resorted to buying world of warcraft expansions digitally, as beyond getting the collector’s editions, there are some advantages to having a physical disk with most PCs built in the last few years that don’t even include disk drives. Various world of warcraft fans have celebrated Thatnerdguy92’s idea of using his “dusty boxes” in creative art instead of keeping them on the shelf ever since he shared the idea with the community.
