‘I am a more honest man than you’: Trump ends interview with Piers Morgan
Donald Trump’s disgraced former campaign manager Paul Manafort is being sued by the Justice Department for $3 million he owes in fines for failing to report foreign financial interests over several years.
Manafort was sentenced to prison in 2019 after being found guilty of various crimes, including bank fraud, money laundering and illegal lobbying. The charges stemmed from Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s interactions with Russian agents and interests.
Meanwhile, Trump has finally posted on his Truth Social app after months of silence. “I’M BACK! #COVFEFE,” he wrote alongside a photo of the former president speaking on the phone at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
Despite the hopes of several right-wing Republicans, Trump has insisted that he would not return to Twitter even if Elon Musk reinstated his account. In fact, he has said that he does not see social platforms as rivals.
President Biden mocks Donald Trump at White House Correspondents’ Dinner

On Saturday, Biden joked, “I’m so excited to be here tonight with the only group of Americans with a lower approval rating than me.”
The president also joked about the anti-Biden slogan “Let’s Go Brandon,” saying, “Republicans seem to support one guy, a guy named Brandon. He is having a very good year. I’m happy for him.”
