Skyrim is very much a solo experience, which is how most Skyrim players will probably like it, but what if there was a way to add just a touch of the social experience you get from other game franchises? ? Like, say, perhaps, the Dark Souls series and its message system. Then you would get the Building Bridges mod, recently uploaded by creator TommInfinite.
Building Bridges add the ability to leave messages for other players, just like it does in Dark Souls, Demon Souls, and Elden Ring. All you have to do is install the mod, connect to the Nexus Mods network, and then start typing. Building Bridges is compatible with both Skyrim Special Edition and Anniversary Edition and is compatible with most other Skyrim mods.
Installing the Building Bridges mod is a bit more complex than other mods. First, download the correct version of the mod for the version of Skyrim installed. After that, you will need to get your Nexus API Key from Nexus Mods via this link. You will need that key to connect to the network once you start the game for the first time. Once you have entered the key, upload any saved file to get your Building Bridges key. Then restart the game. After all that, you’re ready to start posting using the default “b” key.
The rules for Build Bridges are very similar to those of Elden Ring, but with some improvements. First of all, you are not limited to a preset list of words: you can write any message you want, as long as you follow the moderation rules. Yes, there is a reporting system, and yes, moderators can remove offensive posts and also kick mod users off the network for repeated offenses.
Posts can be rated, and unlike Elden Ring, high ratings also provide users with tangible benefits. Positive message ratings will give players an experience that will level up their standing in Building Bridges, giving them the ability to write more and longer messages. A level one player can write 20 messages with up to 115 symbols, but a max level player can write 31 messages with up to 170 symbols.
You can also manage your messages, delete the ones you don’t like anymore, and even hide messages, so they only show up for you.
Building Bridges is now available on Nexus Mods here. Thanks to VG247 for the advice.
