Known by the username of u/Troytheartboy, the Pokemon fan first made headlines a few weeks ago for his incredibly creative series of drawings showing a variety of Pokémon drawn in the style of Lilo and Stitch. The artwork included popular characters such as Charmander, Sandslash, and Cyndaquil with features resembling experiments in the franchise, such as the titular Stitch or the TV series’ fan-favorite Reuben.

About a month later, u/Troytheartboy is back with a new series of Pokemon drawn in the same Lilo and Stitch Art style. As with the previous batch, each of the Pokémon has been redesigned with characteristics similar to those of an experiment. One of the most noticeable differences is the eyes, which replace the respective characters’ eyeballs with completely black, almond-shaped glowing ones. The general edges of the Pokemon designs have been softened, with appendages, for lack of a better description, “stunted.” Some examples are included below, and those interested can click here to see the rest.

The fresh batch of Pokemon The fan art is clearly a hit with fans, garnering hundreds of likes within hours of being posted. While Pokemon Fan art is abundant, some of that art comes from a few well-known sources. Mike Mignola, known as the creator of the famous hell boy comics, he has drawn some of his own Pokémon at the firm hell boy Art style. Essentially doing the opposite of the Lilo and Stitch-style drawings, Mignola gives Scyther and Omastar a more jagged, demonized look that befits the Dark Horse Comics series.

While hardly anyone would think of Pokemon along with anyone Lilo and Stitch either hell boy, there seems to be something inherently interesting about seeing what familiar characters from one franchise would look like in another’s art style. several months ago, one Super Smash Bros. fan went viral for his artwork of almost everything Super Smash Bros Ultimate list in a Family man Art style. The artwork includes various Pokemon, subjectively ranging from funny to creepy.
