Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Player Notices GTA 3 Sign Error – New Style Motorsport

AN Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy player has discovered an unfortunate error in some of the signs in the GTA 3 game world, in yet another example of poor quality control in Grove Street Games’ remastered versions of Grand Theft Auto 3, vice cityY San Andreas.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was released late last year on numerous gaming platforms, offering remastered versions of the classic Grand Theft Auto titles Since its release, it has been plagued by technical problems and questioned for its stylistic changes. Developed by Grove Street Games, the game’s packaging was universally panned by critics and received poorly by players upon release. Grove Street Games is known for porting existing titles to mobile platforms, having previously worked on projects including the mobile editions of Ark: Survival Evolved and the rock star Bully: Anniversary Editionamong other titles.

A Reddit user named pog_3r discovered the bug at GTA 3 – The definitive edition, posting his find to the /r/GTA sub-Reddit with a photo. The image shows the exit sign on the bridge from the Isle of Portland to Staunton Island, which incorrectly says “drive carefully into the tunnel” where there is no such tunnel. In the original version of GTA 3the sign correctly says “drive carefully on the bridge”.

Commenters were confused as to why the developers changed the sign and criticized the Grove Street Games bug, with one user suggesting it could be evidence of “copy and pasting without looking”. In fact, the GTA 3 world has a short network of tunnels connecting the islands. At the northern point of Portland Island, near the car crusher, is Exit 25, a tunnel that leads to Staunton Island. The signage above this tunnel says “drive carefully in the tunnel” and appears to be like the sign in pog_3r’s photo. It seems likely that the signs for the exits were reused on both the bridge and the tunnel by accident. Of course, this still suggests a lack of attention to detail on the part of Grove Street Games.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy has been plagued with strange bugs and glitches since its highly anticipated release, leading to disappointment from fans and critics alike. Rockstar Games even temporarily removed from the list Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy to address “unintentional files” included in the release, and attempted to placate disgruntled players by offering them a free game as part of a broader apology. Rockstar also made the decision to bring back the original versions of Grand Theft Auto, which had previously been removed from online stores. Despite this, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy It has reportedly sold millions of copies.

Grove Street Games released a major patch earlier this year to address a number of issues and improve performance, but for some fans, the remastered versions of Great car thief they are irredeemable. As gamers continue to find new game bugs and retests of poorly remastered game assets, it’s easy to understand why some gamers prefer to stick with the original versions.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
