The world of Fortnite Marvel skins is, like the game itself, constantly expanding. This is to be expected given that Fortnite and Marvel represent two of the biggest brands in video games and movies, respectively. There have already been dozens of Marvel-themed outfits, or “skins,” in the game, as well as boss battles, easter eggs, and much more.
What’s most exciting is that we’ve apparently only seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the potential for a collaboration between Fortnite and Marvel Comics. According to Epic Games Creative Director Donald Mustard, the Fortnite and Marvel crossovers will continue well into the future, which has been proven over and over again with each passing season.
Even in Chapter 3, Epic Games has made a point of introducing at least one Marvel character per season. Regarding Chapter 3 Season 2 specifically, fans will soon be able to receive two free Marvel skins in Fortnite if they purchase the Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War comic series. This series will contain five issues and will focus on The Seven and other Marvel superheroes. For fans who purchase the comic series, Epic will reward them with two undisclosed Marvel cosmetics in Fortnite later this summer.
While fans don’t know which Marvel skins might be coming via the comic series, it’s clear that the Fortnite x Marvel universe is still going strong. There also doesn’t seem to be an end in sight for this clash of entertainment giants. With every new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie released, it’s only fitting that Fortnite release a cosmetic pack focused on the main characters from the movie. When Spider-Man: No Way Home launched in late 2021, Fortnite introduced the No Way Home cosmetic pack, consisting of Spider-Man and MJ skins among other items.
2022 is set to be a banner year for Marvel movies, so fans should expect even more superhero skins and cosmetics to come to Fortnite. For now though, we have a list of all the current Marvel skins that fans have seen in the Fortnite Item Shop. Whenever more Marvel skins are added to the game, we will update this list to reflect the new superheroes that have entered the Fortnite universe.
