Fortnite 20.20 update adds The Battle For Coney Crossroads, New Shotgun and more - New Style Motorsport

Despite competition from other titles, Fortnite manages to maintain its popularity by providing regular and frequent content updates. The Battle Royale seems to get updates almost weekly, and this week is no different. Fortnite has revealed details about its v20.20 update, which adds a new IO battle, an entirely new weapon, and more.

Epic Games’ popular free-to-play title is now entering the second month of Chapter 3 Season 2. The current season made waves in the gaming community for completely removing building for the first 10 days or so, which split greatly to the players. Fortnite it eventually brought building back into the fold, adding a dedicated Zero Build mode for players who prefer the game without it.

The battle between the sinister Imagined Order, or IO, and the Resistance of the Seven continues, with the latest conflict centered around the POI sitting at the center. Once again, players must push back three waves of IO Guards at different points around the location, with Seven Sentries appearing to support the player. The update puts an end to the conflict that was going on in Condo Canyon, and players can now raise funds for another armored battle bus and a set of turrets.

While FortniteThe 20.10 update disabled several established items, 20.20 introduces an entirely new one. Players now have access to the new Ranger shotgun. With a much longer range than most shotguns in the game, the Ranger shotgun only has a single shot per clip. However, the new weapon can deal serious damage. The common version of the weapon deals 117 damage, while the legendary one can deal up to 142. The powerful new shotgun can be found at certain vendors, in chests, supply drops, and sharks.

FortniteThe 20.20 update also gives players a new pair of items to check out. The choice is between Boogie Bomb or Rift-To-Go, both of which can be useful in helping players get out of a jam. For those unfamiliar, Boogie Bomb causes those caught in the blast radius to spontaneously start dancing, rendering them helpless for a few seconds. The Rift-To-Go instantly summons a Rift, giving players a chance to escape heated situations. The previous vote was between the Combat Assault Rifle and the MK-Seven Assault Rifle, with the latter being successfully funded.


In addition to the new battle location, the new weapon, and the voting for new items, the Fortnite The update also adds Covert Ops Quests in Zero Build mode. Helping The Origin, one of the new Chapter 3 Season 2 characters, players must finish both stages of each mission before time runs out to receive the next one.
